missin gem.......poems

my heart is numb as i stare in space, my friend is gone from this place
I look an see no new posts from her, and know twill not be like before
My heart does ache and wonder how, her family is doin without her now
The loss of Gem is so deep i feel, with only time this loss will heal

As i read through all my tears, there is one thing i am reminded of here
Through wit and humour in story and song, through all her trials she carried on
her essence still remains here, within these pages, in our hearts she's near
I can almost hear her now say..hey Blue, who can we tarment taday

Through her memory her strength she gives, to carry on in this life we live
if she were here i know she'd say..."stop yer bawlin, an come on out n play"
So lets carry on the best we can, and help each other hand n hand
an bring a little joy and a bit of fun, for gemmers would not want us ta be glum

Beautiful stuff Blue.. got me bawlin again.. I can't think of Gem without my eyes flooding.

She was a friend to all she knew
Especially to me & Blue
She maid us laugh so hard we cried
We sure do miss her since she died

She still can make us cry for sure
And though on earth she is no more
Her memory still lingers on
She's here in laughter,  tear,  and song

She surely makes the angels smile
She's been with them for a while
She's making room for us you see
Cause someday again with her we'll be

You touched so many over the years
You'll always be here tho you're gone

Thinking of you makes me sad

Oh dear Gemma da good times we had
talkin in turrs and being rite bad
you started some poems and it took off from dere
oh lard tunderin we gave people a scare

it wus all in fun and many peeple joined in
puttin werds togedder oh what a sin 
we laffed and we laffed till we cudn't no more
sometimes we wus almose kicked to da door

But we didn't care as it wus havin fun
we wrote and wrote until we wus done
after dat we wud head to da bar
order up a drink and light up a cigar

We wus always chasin da b'ys
drinkin and dancie and tellin all lies
but dey didn't care dey wus gettin attention
sometimes a wink let not forget to mention

I'll leave you with that as you rest in heaven
it's late here now, it's after eleven
